Companies around the world are searching for ways to conserve and reuse water out of both an effort to become more environmentally conscious as well as legitimate water shortages. So, what are businesses actually doing to try and accomplish this goal?

A paper mill in Canada recently tried to create a reusable water system that would significantly reduce their water usage as well as use water as efficiently as possible. Unfortunately, their honest attempt at doing something to help the environment and themselves ended up hurting both the environment and themselves. How? The system that they had in place was allowing the business to reuse the water but was then dumping highly concentrated amounts of toxins into the sewer.
